PRODUCT: Cheesy Chive Warm Dip Mix

Just add a block of cream cheese and microwave and you have a warm cheesy dip to go with your favorite chips or crackers. It can also be used as a baked potato topper, in potato casseroles, or add just 1/2 cup of beer to make beer cheese. Love this product!

RECIPE: Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Last weekend I used the CINNAMON MUFFIN MELT MIX to make this recipe that I found on the Tastefully Simple website. All I can say is that it was probably the best and freshest coffee cake I have ever eaten! Here is the fabulous recipe.....

Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Ingredients
CINNAMON MUFFIN MELT MIX
1/2 cup water
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) melted butter

Directions
Combine muffin mix packet with water, sour cream and eggs. Spread half of batter in greased 9-inch springform pan. Mix cinnamon packet with melted butter (mixture will be thick). Sprinkle half of cinnamon mixture over the batter. Spread with remaining batter; top with remaining cinnamon mixture. Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Makes 10-12 servings.

RECIPE: Smoked Paprika Swiss Steak

This recipe reminds me alot of my mom's swiss steak she used to make when I was growing up. The Smoked Paprika dip mix and Seasoned Salt work well together in this dish.

Ingredients
Vegetable oil
1 1/2 lbs. boneless top round steak, cut into 4-5 pieces
14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
2 Tbsp. Smoked Paprika & Garlic Dip Mix
1-2 tsp. Seasoned Salt

Directions
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add steak pieces and brown on both sides. Place browned meat in greased slow cooker. Pour tomatoes over meat; sprinkle with Smoked Paprika Dip Mix and Seasoned Salt. If meat is layered in slow cooker, spoon tomatoes and seasoning between and on top of layers. Cover; heat on low 6-8 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice. Makes 4-6 servings.

RECIPE: Soup and Salad Supper

I recently used three of my favorite Tastefully Simple products to make a soup and salad supper.

PERFECTLY POTATO CHEDDAR SOUP is a great stand alone soup, or you can add extra ingredients to make it your own.  Here's my version:

1 packet PERFECTLY POTATO CHEDDAR SOUP MIX
3 cups water
1 teaspoon BACON BACON
3/4 cup instant mashed potatoes

Mix water and bacon into soup mix in medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer for 15 minutes.
Add 3/4 cup refrigerated mashed potatos (unheated)
Simmer for another 15 minutes and stir frequently until soup is thick and bubbly and mashed potatoes have dissolved.
Stir in pepper to taste.
Ladle into mug or soupbowl and top with shredded cheddar cheese.

SENSATIONAL CAESAR VEGGIE DIP is a mild and savory dip mix, but I thinned it down a bit with a little milk and created a Creamy Caesar Dressing for my green salad.  This dressing could also be used for your pasta salads and even chicken salad. Definitely one of my favorite products!

PRODUCT: Simply Salsa

I love salsa. With blue corn chips. But I have never been able to find a really good fresh tasting salsa on the store shelves. Then I found Tastefully Simple's Simply Salsa. It is amazing to me that you can make a bowl of really good tasting salsa just by mixing this product with a can of premium brand crushed tomatoes (or crush your own fresh tomatoes).  Every time I serve it people just rave over it.  On occasion, I have added some black beans and some sweet corn to it as well.  And it is really easy to make a fruit salsa by adding a little chopped fresh fruit - peaches, mangos, pineapple, etc. And the blue corn chips? Try the Tastefully Simple Blue Aztec Chips with your homemade salsa. They are sprinkled with sesame seeds, so they are a little bit heartier than your regular blue corn chips. Ole!

PRODUCT: Pumpkin Patch Bread

This bread mix is very moist and it is easy to add additional ingredients to it.  The first time I made it I used one tablespoon of the TS Warming Mulling Spice to give it a little extra cinnamon flavor and also to sweeten the batter a bit.  For add-ons, I thought about mixing in a very ripe banana and/or some semi-sweet chocolate chips.
